Mary Catherine O'Connor, 80, passed away at her home in Monroe, NC on November 16, 2018 surrounded by her family.

"Grandma" was born on November 3, 1938 to the late Roy H. Woodard and Geraldine Storcks in Brooklyn, New York.

Family was everything to Mary. She was America's Grandma. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Edward O'Connor; her son Sean Edward O'Connor; four siblings and two nephews.

Grandma is survived by her daughters Maureen Rafferty (Joseph) and Colleen O'Connor; grandchildren Colleen McMillen (Waylin), Raymond Quinn, Sean Ryan O'Connor, Kyle O'Connor (Janae), Molly Greene (Jason), Dylan O'Connor (Emily) and Katherine Lowry (Zach); great-grand children Abigail O'Connor, Bradley Greene, Jr (Gabriela), Aiden McMillen, Ashley McMillen, William Lowry; great-great-grandchildren Mia Greene and Juliana Presnell; a host of family and friends including Raymond Quinn Sr, Bradley Greene Sr, and JoAnne Kimble.
