Mr. Mark Alan Smith, 64, of Matthews, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 in the Harris Hospice Center of Novant Presbyterian Medical Center. He was born August 20, 1955 to Charles and Marian Keogh Smith in Dutchess County, NY.

Mark attended First Baptist Church of Indian Trail and member of the Gideons International.

Left to cherish his memory; his wife Sandra Thompson Smith; sons Matthew A. Smith and Charlotte, Jonathan M. Smith (Sarah) of Charlotte and grandson Oliver R. Smith.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
