Marina Montanez Obituary

Marina Montanez, 83, of Indian Trail, loved life and lived a full life. She was a cancer survivor for 20 years. Ms. Montanez was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico. She loved music, television and to crochet.

Those left to cherish Ms Montanez life are her 3 brothers, Jesus Montanez, Jose Luis Montanez, Ezekiel Montanez

Two children, her daughter, Gricel Ortiz (Cookie) and son, Yick Tong

Nine grandchildren, Rosaline Nazario, Rafael Nazario, Damian Ortiz, Gabriel Ortiz, Billie Tong, Jr., Kimberly Kaplan, Amanda Tong, Adam Lee Tong and Christina Marie Tong

Seventeen great grandchildren, Jacqueline Escobedo, Enrique Nazario, Javier Nazario, Isabella Nazario, Serena Slach, Lindsey Slach, Lucas Kaplan, Alexis Ortiz, Xailin Ortiz, Adrien Ortiz, Gabriel Ortiz, Adyn Ortiz, Alivia Ortiz, Juliana Ortiz, Genesis Gomera, Kailan Daniels, Maxwell Tong

She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, 2 brothers and son Billy.
