Malvina Ann Lewis was born October 18, 1957 in Queens, N.Y. She attended school primarily in Rockaway Queens. Malvina loved being a mom to her two children, Michael and Michele. Her life was further enriched when she was baptized, along with her father, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1973.
Malvina worked as a Mortgage Underwriter in the banking industry and in addition she sold real estate. She was a dedicated parent and a hard worker all her adult life. She enjoyed jazz, tennis and travel, especially to conventions. Her first convention was in 1958 at Yankee Stadium though she was only 1 years old.
Her spirituality and faith have been her strength throughout her life. In addition to working hard to support her family, she always made time to share her beliefs and hopes from the bible with others.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Cooper and is survived by her father, Samuel Cooper, mother, Connie Cooper, her two children, Michael and Michele Lewis, sister, Elaine Cooper, brother, Rodney Cooper, grandchildren, Pashaeye, Shaniya, Miyahni, Mechai, Zariyah and Zai’bree, Aunt Evelyn Campbell, cousins William and Angela Campbell as well as Rosie Tate, Toni McDonald, Veronica Williams and many other relatives, friends and a host of fellow believers who have touched her life and helped her along the way.
