Lyubov Yakovlevna Agapova

Mrs. Lyubov Yakovlevna Agapova, 90, of Matthews, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Agapova was born February 22, 1929 in Belarus to Yakov Rudlevskiy and Mariya Rahkmankovich. She later married Mikolai Agapov. Mrs. Agapova was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Nina Rudlevskaya, Zinaida Kurilo and Ivan Rudlevskiy.

Those who knew Mrs. Agapova the best would speak to her love for the Lord, the Bible and her Church. She was a good preacher who enjoyed helping others at church and visiting the sick and the elderly. She received her Bachelors of Science degree and taught German and English in schools. She had mastered languages and even spoke 5 of them fluently.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Svetlana Agapova, Liliya Maisak (Mikalai), and Valeriy Agapov (Valentina); and her grandchildren Alex Dubrovskiy, Evgenii Dubrovskiy, Laura Homchik, Alex Maisak, Diana Agapova and Karina Agapova.

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in the sanctuary of Slavic Pentecostal Church of Emmanuel. Burial will follow in the Evergreen City Cemetery.
