Leola (Whitfield) Jones-Jeter

Mrs. Leola Whitfield Jones-Jeter, 81, of Monroe passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 with family by her side. She was born June 8, 1938 to Marilyn Brown Whitfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Diane Jones, granddaughter Tawana Johnson and her husband John Jeter. She attended the Jehovah's Witness, Kingdom Hall in Indian Trail. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children Derick Jones, Sabrina Johnson (Albert), Annette Sherriff, Bobby Jeter, Ryan Jeter, Derek Jeter, Brandon Jeter and Michael Geter; grandchildren Derrick Berry, Edwin Plaza, Xerix Plaza, Derrick Daniels, Marcello Sheriff, Jamal Sheriff, Yvette Jones, Lovetta Winborne and Gretta Johnson; great grandchildren Zariah Daniels, Jaidan Plaza, India Plaza, Rayshaun Plaza, Kyio Plaza, Micko Plaza, Jyirah Plaza, Denise Berry, Zaniya Sheriff, Zaiai Sheriff, Lavette Jones and Samuel Jones and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 3:00pm Saturday, December 14 in the Kingdom Hall; 821 Chestnut Lane, Matthews. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Friday, December 13 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail.
