Genevieve Agnes (Archer) Huber

Mrs. Genevieve Huber, 86, of Indian Trail, passed away Friday October 18, 2019 at her residence. She was born December 28, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ to Richard David Archer and Dorothy Nelson Archer. She later married Lawrence John Huber II who precedes her in death. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Thomas Archer.

Mrs. Huber was a true people person, she never really met a stranger, she could be found talking to all of her neighbors. She had a love for shopping, Walmart, Harris Teeter and the Dollar Tree were some of her favorite places to go, mainly to socialize. She had a routine of watching certain television shows; "Match Game 77", "Let's Make a Deal", "Price is Right", "Family Feud" (she loved her some Steve Harvey!) and she would rise early each morning to watch the 6:00AM Catholic Mass. In addition, she loved playing Bingo, SkipBo and Phase 10. She loved animals and had a true admiration for butterflies, they would give her a sense of comfort from her deceased husband and other relatives. 

Left to cherish her memory are her son Lawrence "Larry" John Huber III and wife Catherine; grandson Lawrence John Huber IV; sisters Joan Kruzdell and Patricia Smith; brothers Robert Archer (Sara), Richard Archer (Betty) and David Archer (Shirley) and her beloved Wirey Haired Terrier Jasper.

The family will receive friends 4:00PM-6:00PM Monday, October 21 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail. Prayer Service will be 1:00PM Tuesday in the Good Shepherd Chapel.
