Mr. Edmund “Kyle” Schlappich, 27, of Monroe passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at his residence. He was born September 16, 1992 in Mecklenburg County to Allen Ray and Tabitha Long Schlappich. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Edward and Peggy Long.
Kyle was a fun-loving young man that enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend, family and friends. He loved motorsports racing, hunting with his family and to mix dance music.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Allen and Tabitha Schlappich; brother Kody Schlappich, grandparents Larry and Della Schlappich; uncles Patrick Schlappich (Leslie), Jason Schlappich (Amy) and Jeff Schlappich (Cindy; aunts Karen Heath (George) and Edwina Starnes (Nolan) and his girlfriend Luci Setliff who is expecting their baby.
Funeral Service will be 1:00pm Monday, November 25, 2019 in the sanctuary of Lee Park Church; 2491 Morgan Mill Rd, Monroe; with Pastors Chris Justice and Wesley Keziah officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00pm Sunday, November 24 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd., Indian Trail.
