Deborah Lynn Penley Maybin

April 3, 1965 - January 17, 2019

After a long hard battle with chronic illness, on the morning of January 17th, 2019, Deborah “Debbie” Maybin quietly passed away in the home she shared with long-time partner, Pat Tickle. She is survived by two children- Nicholas “Nick” James Rice and Alisha Rice Brown; two grandchildren- Kai Walker Rice, and Ari Benton Brown; a brother, Tony Reeves; an Aunt, Gail Mills; and a cousin, Mindy Rozak. She will be greeted on the other side by her parents, Carolyn “Sue” Johnson and Jackie Benton Johnson; along with her grandmother, Marion “Nanny” Howard; and Aunt, Theresa “Sissy” Howard. A small remembrance ceremony for family and friends will be held at a later date. Her death will be felt by all who knew her, and we sincerely hope that she has finally found peace.
