Barbara Gray Obituary

Mrs. Barbara G. Gray, 72, of Monroe, passed away early Sunday Morning, October 20, 2019 in the Lake Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Indian Trail. She was born on September 17, 1947 in Perth Amboy , NJ to James Nelson and Viola Evans Grove. She was the youngest of three daughters.

Barbara graduated in 1965 from Firestone High School in Akron, OH.
She is preceded in death by her father James Nelson Grove, her mother Viola Evans Grove, Brother-in-law Allan Carleton, 2nd husband and father to her daughter Byron L. Gray.
She is survived by her two sisters, Linda (David) Thomas of Cape May, NJ,
Judith (Alan) Carleton of Crossville, TN.
1st Husband Derek McClenathen (father of her son)
Son, Derek (Kassie) McClenathen of Mooresville, NC
Daughters Amanda (Andre) Diaz of Monroe, NC and Gayle (Bryan) Clark of Cleveland, TN

Grandchildren, Caden McClenathen, Mooresville, NC, Abby McClenathen, Mooresville, NC, Olivia Diaz, Monroe, NC, Madelynn Diaz, Monroe, NC, Gavin McClenathen, Mooresville, NC, Avery McClenathen, Mooresville, NC and Quinn Diaz of Monroe, NC, Ryan Clark, Cleveland, TN, Kylie (Sidney) Hand, Cleveland, TN
One great granddaughter, Layla Clark, Cleveland, TN
